Sourcing Guide
A practical guide for buyers, brand owners, and product developers — what to look for in a rotomolding supplier, what to bring, and where to find us on the floor.
SHOT Show is one of the few places where you can meet a rotomolding manufacturer face-to-face, hold samples in your hands, and have a real conversation about tooling, MOQ, and lead time — without a 12-hour flight to Asia.
This page is written for buyers who are actively sourcing. It covers who should stop by our booth, what we manufacture, what OEM/ODM services we provide, what to bring to a meeting, and — because it is useful regardless of which supplier you choose — the questions worth asking any rotomolding manufacturer you meet at the show.
01 Brand owners sourcing a manufacturing partner for a new or existing product line.
02 Product developers who need mold making, prototyping, and production under one roof.
03 Sourcing and purchasing teams evaluating new suppliers for coolers, tool boxes, or custom plastic parts.
04 Outdoor, fishing, marine, and shooting sports brands looking for private-label or custom rotomolded products.
Boright is a factory, not a trading company. Everything below is produced in our own facility in Ningbo, China.
From first concept to shipping container — all under one roof.
The more you bring, the more specific our conversation can be. Partial information is fine — we work with what you have.
Idea or concept — a sketch, reference image, or rough description.
Drawing or 3D file — CAD, STEP, PDF. Any format works.
Reference sample — a product you want to match, improve, or replace.
Target specs — capacity, materials, certifications, volume expectations.
• New rotomolded cooler development
• Private-label and custom-branded cooler programs
• Custom rotomolded tool boxes
• Insulated fish tubs and seafood containers
• Custom rotomolded products for outdoor, marine, industrial use
• Mold development and prototyping
• OEM/ODM manufacturing partnerships
• Existing product improvement and sourcing
Whether you stop by our booth or another supplier’s, these are the questions that separate real manufacturers from middlemen.

How do I verify a rotomolding supplier is a real factory and not a trading company?
Ask for a live video walkthrough of the production floor during working hours — not a pre-recorded clip. Ask specific questions about machine count, mold shop equipment, and PU foaming line setup. A real factory answers without hesitation.
What certifications should I ask a rotomolding supplier for?
It depends on the product and market. For food-contact items like coolers and fish tubs, ask for FDA-compliant material documentation. For outdoor products, ask about UV stabilization and impact test reports. Always request the specific test report and confirm which models it covers.
How do I protect my design when working with an overseas rotomolding manufacturer?
Sign an NDA before sharing drawings or 3D files. Share design information in stages — concept first, detailed drawings later. Clarify tooling ownership in writing before the mold is cut.
What is the typical lead time for a custom rotomolded product?
For a new product, plan roughly 8–12 weeks from design freeze to first sample, depending on mold complexity. Mass production typically runs 25–30 days after deposit confirmation and sample approval.
What is a reasonable MOQ for a custom rotomolded cooler?
For an existing mold with custom color, MOQ can be as low as 50 pieces per color. For a fully custom mold, expect higher initial volumes to amortize tooling cost.
What information do I need to get an accurate quote?
Product dimensions or 3D file, target material, estimated annual volume, color requirements, branding method, packaging requirements, and destination port. If you only have a reference product, that is still enough to start a conversation.
The SHOT Show is owned and operated by NSSF® — the Firearm Industry Trade Association. It is restricted to trade professionals, commercial buyers, and sellers of military, law enforcement, and tactical products. Not open to the general public.
